Compete with young African entrepreneurs


The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM)
invites young African entrepreneurs (up to 40years) to compete for 10 conference awards to show case their
innovations, enterprises, business concepts and propositions.

The 10 competitively selected business enterprises will receive an all-expense paid trip to participate at the RUFORUM Biennial Conference slated for October 17-21 in Cape Town, South Africa.

People with established business enterprises, innovations that can potentially be commercialized and credible business concepts are eligible to apply.

Win $4,000

Agility Africa is inviting photographers to compete and win a total winning price of up to $4,000 in the Africa 2016 Photo Competition.

Participants, apart from being professional and amateur photographers, are expected to be 18 years of age and older.

Each category winner will receive a prize of $2,000 and the grand prize winner will receive an additional $2,000 price as well as the opportunity to feature the winning photograph in leading magazines and events.

Agility Africa is looking to showcase to the world, images that reflects today’s vibrant, modern African reality; so pictures for the competition must be taken in Africa.

Only minor digital editing, colour correction and cropping of the pictures is allowed.

All photographs must be submitted in digital format via on or before September 1, 2016

Get rewarded for entrepreneurship in education

The Pan African Awards for Entrepreneurship in Education which is generously supported by The Saville Foundation is now open to interested contestants until July 15, 2016.

Participants stand a chance of winning huge sums of money if they own any education or training project based in Africa, or run an organisation which actively demonstrates the success of their entrepreneurial approach to education.

The overall winner stands to win a $15,000 prize, while the first and second runners-up get prizes of $5,000 each.
